The sooner, the better! Many brides book up to a year in advance. Our calendar fills quickly, so we recommend securing your date as early as possible to avoid disappointment.

Yes, a 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking. Deposits must be sent via e-transfer to finessebyashlyn@outlook.com.

Absolutely! Additional services can be added to any package. Depending on the number of services, an additional artist may be required.

To book Ashlyn, you must select a package or book a minimum of six services. For bookings with a team artist, minimums may vary—please inquire for details.

Yes! We refer to them as previews because they’re your chance to see and refine your look before the big day. Previews are available Monday to Thursday only and are booked as a separate appointment within six months of your wedding date. You’ll have the opportunity to make any tweaks or adjustments in a relaxed, stress-free environment.
If booking à la carte, preview rates are the same as wedding-day rates. A preview cannot be booked without securing your wedding date with a deposit.

No, we are a fully mobile team and provide on-location services only.

Yes! Strip lashes are complimentary and optional with all makeup applications. You can also upgrade to individual lashes for $15 + HST per person.

We do not provide accessories or extensions, but we are happy to install them for you!
Hair accessory installation is included with any hairstyling service.
Clip-in extension installation is available for $25 + HST per person.
Extensions must be provided by the client and must be 100% real human hair. They should be washed, blow-dried, and thoroughly brushed out before the appointment.
We cannot work with wet hair extensions, and the add-on fee is non-refundable if extensions are not properly prepped.

Logistics & On-Site Services

Yes! We are fully mobile and can travel to your home, hotel, or wedding venue (if it’s open during your getting-ready timeframe). We do not offer in-studio services.

For Makeup Applications:
✅ Arrive with a completely clean face—no makeup or SPF.
✅ Exfoliate the night before for best results.
✅ Light moisturizer and lip balm are okay!
✅ For the best setup, we recommend a high chair or bar stool near natural light (a window) with ample table space nearby.
For Hairstyling Services:✅ Hair must be 100% clean and dry upon arrival.
✅ Wash and blow-dry the night before for the best results.
✅ Avoid conditioner, leave-in treatments, or oils—these can affect styling and longevity.
✅ If you have curly or frizz-prone hair, you may use anti-frizz products and blow-dry smooth as usual.
✅ Have a standard-height chair or stool with a low back, ample table space, and a nearby electrical outlet available.
For Hair Extensions:✅ Client must provide clip-in extensions.
✅ Extensions should be washed, blow-dried, and brushed out before the appointment.
✅ We cannot work with wet extensions, and the add-on fee is non-refundable if extensions are not properly prepped.
Clothing:✅ Wear a neutral or white top that is off-the-shoulder, button-up, or zippered for easy removal.
✅ Silk robes are a great option for wedding mornings!
